The XR Summer Camp 2026 was successfully conducted at the Computer Lab of Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC), Chennai, from 04 to 09 May 2026. The six-day camp offered students a unique opportunity to experience the exciting blend of modern technology and Indian cultural values. A total of 20 students enthusiastically participated in the programme, making it an engaging, interactive, and enriching learning experience.

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Senthil Kumar, Director, E16 AI XR, who introduced the participants to the fascinating world of Extended Reality (XR) through practical and hands-on sessions. Students actively explored concepts such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), XR block coding, and STEM-based learning experiences, gaining valuable exposure to emerging technologies and creative digital tools.

The programme concluded on 09 May 2026 with a valedictory function, during which several participants shared their experiences and positive feedback. The students expressed great enthusiasm for the sessions and conveyed their keen interest in attending more such technology-oriented workshops in the future.

Addressing the gathering, Swami Ishapremanandaji Maharaj, In-charge of Vivekananda Illam, encouraged the students to continue practising and applying the skills they had learnt during the camp. He highlighted the growing importance of technological knowledge in today’s world and motivated them to use such learning opportunities for their future education and career development.

The camp concluded with the distribution of participation certificates followed by a group photograph, marking the successful completion of a thoughtfully designed programme that truly embodied the spirit of “Tech Meets Tradition.”
