The Valedictory Function of “SAMSKAR” Summer Camp 2026 was celebrated with great enthusiasm, devotion, and gratitude at the vibrant premises of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre. The event marked the successful conclusion of a meaningful journey filled with learning, discipline, culture, spirituality, and joyful memories for students and parents alike.

The program began in the serene presence of
Swami Satyajnanananda Ji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore, and
Swami Mahadevananda, Director, Vivekananda Cultural Centre, whose gracious presence added spiritual strength and inspiration to the occasion.

The morning commenced with the sacred chanting of Medha Suktham along with flower offerings, creating a divine atmosphere filled with peace and positive vibrations. The gathering then stood together for Tamil Thai Vaazhthu, setting a respectful and cultural tone for the event.

The students then presented soulful Group Bhajans under the guidance of Smt. Vijayashree. Their devotional singing filled the hall with positivity and devotion, touching the hearts of everyone present.

The energy of the event rose further with an impressive Silambam Demonstration by the students. Their confidence, coordination, and discipline reflected the traditional values and physical training imparted during the camp. The audience applauded enthusiastically as the children showcased this ancient martial art with great spirit.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the function was the presentation of a special video showcasing glimpses from the camp. The video beautifully captured the laughter, learning, discipline, games, cultural activities, and unforgettable moments shared by the students during the camp days. Parents and students watched with smiles and nostalgia as cherished memories came alive on screen.

A touching segment of the program featured sharing sessions by faculty members and volunteers, including Smt. Vijayasri, Smt. Valli Sollai, Smt. Visalakshi, Smt. Nithya, and Ms. Jayalakshmi. They expressed their joyful experiences, memorable moments, and heartfelt gratitude for being part of this enriching journey.

The students themselves then came forward to share “What We Learnt” from the camp. Children spoke confidently about the values, discipline, friendships, bhajans, yoga, cultural learning, and life lessons they gained during the sessions. Their sincere words reflected the true success of the camp.

Parents also shared valuable feedback, appreciating the efforts taken by the organizers, volunteers, and teachers in shaping the students with good values and confidence. Many parents expressed happiness about the positive transformation they observed in their children during the camp period.

A major highlight of the function was the Benediction Address delivered by
Swami Satyajnanananda Ji Maharaj. Maharaj blessed the students, parents, and volunteers, and inspired everyone with his valuable words on character building, discipline, spirituality, and the importance of cultural values in modern life.

The program also included a special Felicitation Ceremony honoring the dedicated faculties and volunteers whose sincere service and loving care made the camp meaningful and memorable for every child.

This was followed by the much-awaited Certificate Distribution Ceremony, where students proudly received their participation certificates. Special prizes were also awarded to winners of the handwriting event conducted during the camp, where students beautifully wrote inspiring quotes of Swami Vivekananda and “Sri Ramajayam.”

In addition, six special prizes were distributed to children who successfully recited the sacred Ganesha Pancharatnam completely by heart. Their dedication, memory, devotion, and sincere effort were highly appreciated by everyone present.

The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks by
Swami Mahadevananda, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the grand success of the camp and valedictory function.

Finally, the gathering joined together for the National Anthem, followed by a joyful group photo session and Donnai Prasadam distribution.

The “SAMSKAR” Summer Camp 2026 was not just a camp — it was a journey of learning, culture, devotion, friendship, discipline, and self-development. The memories created during these days will continue to inspire the students for years to come.
