- The 186th Catch Them Young Workshop was successfully conducted on Friday, 13 March 2026, at Swami Ramakrishnananda Hall on the campus of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC). The programme welcomed 33 M.A. Economics students from Guru Nanak College, providing them with an opportunity to engage in a day of reflection, inspiration, and value-oriented learning.
- The session commenced with a serene invocation that set a peaceful and attentive tone for the day. This was followed by an introductory presentation about the vision and activities of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre and Vivekananda Illam. The students were introduced to the various initiatives undertaken by these institutions to inspire youth through character building, leadership development, and the promotion of cultural and national values.
- A key highlight of the workshop was the motivational talk delivered by Smt.Krishnaveni. Through an engaging and thought-provoking session, she shared the timeless teachings and ideals of Swami Vivekananda, encouraging students to develop self-confidence, discipline, and perseverance. Her words motivated the participants to recognise their inner strength and work towards their goals with dedication and strong moral values.
- The students participated actively throughout the programme, listening attentively and sharing their thoughts during the discussions. Many of them expressed that the workshop offered valuable insights and helped them gain a clearer sense of direction and motivation for their future.
- As part of the programme, the students were also taken on a guided visit to the Experience Vivekananda Museum, where the interactive exhibits and displays provided deeper insights into the life, message, and enduring legacy of Swami Vivekananda. The visit left a meaningful and inspiring impact on the participants.
- The workshop concluded on a joyful note with the distribution of certificates, books, photographs of Swami Vivekananda, and refreshments, followed by a group photograph. The programme served as an enriching experience, encouraging the students to imbibe the ideals of character, confidence, and service in their lives.
