- The 184th Catch Them Young Workshop was successfully organised on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, at Swami Ramakrishnananda Hall in the campus of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC). The programme brought together 78 B.Com. (Honours) students from Guru Nanak College for a day of inspiration, reflection, and value-based learning.
- The workshop began with a peaceful invocation, creating a calm and focused atmosphere for the participants. This was followed by an introductory session that familiarised the students with the vision and activities of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre and Vivekananda Illam. The presentation highlighted the institutions’ ongoing efforts to nurture character, cultivate leadership qualities, and promote cultural and national values among the youth.
- A significant part of the programme was the motivational session delivered by Smt. Krishnaveni Ji. In her engaging and insightful talk, she beautifully presented the teachings and ideals of Swami Vivekananda, encouraging the students to build self-confidence, practise discipline, and develop perseverance in their personal and academic lives. Her words inspired the participants to recognise their inner potential and strive for excellence with strong moral values.
- The students remained actively involved throughout the programme, listening with interest and sharing their reflections. Many participants expressed that the workshop helped them look at their goals with renewed clarity and motivation.
- As part of the learning experience, the students were also taken on a guided visit to the Experience Vivekananda Museum. Through its interactive displays and exhibits, the museum offered them a deeper understanding of the life, message, and timeless contributions of Swami Vivekananda, leaving a strong and inspiring impression on the young minds.
- The programme concluded on a cheerful and fulfilling note with the distribution of certificates, books, photographs of Swami Vivekananda, and refreshments, followed by a group photograph. The workshop proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience, encouraging the students to carry forward the ideals of character, confidence, and service in their lives.
