The 179th Catch Them Young Workshop was successfully conducted on Wednesday, 20th February 2026, at Swami Ramakrishnananda Hall, located within the campus of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre. The programme welcomed 80 BBA undergraduate students from Guru Nanak College for a day devoted to reflection, inspiration, and experiential learning.
The workshop began with a serene invocation that created a calm and focused atmosphere. This was followed by an orientation session introducing the students to the vision, legacy, and multifaceted initiatives of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre and Vivekananda Illam. The session emphasized the institutions’ ongoing commitment to character formation, leadership development, and the nurturing of strong national and cultural values among youth.
A key highlight of the programme was the inspiring talk delivered by Smt. Krishnaveni Ji. Through an engaging and relatable presentation, she brought to life the message and ideals of Swami Vivekananda, connecting his timeless teachings with the aspirations and challenges faced by today’s students. Her address motivated the participants to develop self-confidence, clarity of purpose, discipline, and a firm moral foundation.
The students participated enthusiastically throughout the sessions, actively contributing to discussions and sharing insightful reflections. Many expressed that the workshop prompted meaningful self-examination and offered renewed direction and confidence in both their academic journeys and personal development.
The program was further enriched by a guided tour of the Experience Vivekananda Museum, where students explored immersive exhibits portraying the life, ideals, and enduring legacy of Swami Vivekananda. The visit deepened their understanding of the continued relevance of his message in shaping responsible, value-based leadership in modern society.
The workshop concluded on a joyful and fulfilling note with the distribution of certificates, books, and photographs of Swami Vivekananda, followed by refreshments. A group photograph near his statue beautifully captured the spirit of unity and inspiration that marked the successful completion of this meaningful and memorable event.
