The 175th Catch Them Young Workshop was successfully conducted on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, at Swami Ramakrishnananda Hall, Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) Campus. The programme warmly welcomed 45 B.B.A students from Guru Nanak College, Velachery, for a day dedicated to inspiration, introspection, and experiential learning.
The workshop began with a serene invocation, creating an atmosphere of calm and receptivity. This was followed by an orientation session that familiarized the students with the vision, legacy, and various initiatives of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre and Vivekananda Illam. The session emphasized the institutions’ enduring commitment to character formation, leadership development, and the inculcation of national and cultural values among the youth.
A key highlight of the day was an inspiring address by Smt. Krishnaveni Ji, who presented the life and message of Swami Vivekananda in a deeply relatable and engaging manner. By linking his timeless ideals to present-day challenges, she encouraged students to nurture self-confidence, clarity of purpose, and unwavering moral strength.
Throughout the workshop, students participated enthusiastically, sharing their reflections and personal insights. Many expressed that the sessions prompted meaningful self-introspection and instilled a renewed sense of confidence, direction, and motivation in both their academic and personal journeys.
The learning experience was further enriched with a guided visit to the Experience Vivekananda Museum, where students explored immersive exhibits portraying the life, ideals, and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The visit offered profound insights into the continued relevance of his message in contemporary society and youth leadership.
The workshop concluded on a warm and joyful note with the distribution of certificates, books, and photographs of Swami Vivekananda, followed by refreshments. A group photograph taken near the statue of Swami Vivekananda beautifully captured the spirit of the day, marking the successful completion of a truly enriching and memorable program.
