The 181st Catch Them Young Workshop was held on Wednesday, 4 March 2026, at Swami Ramakrishnananda Hall, within the campus of Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC). The programme brought together 70 B.Com undergraduate students from Guru Nanak College for a transformative day of learning, reflection, and inspiration.
The workshop began with a peaceful invocation, creating a focused and uplifting atmosphere. An introductory session followed, offering students an overview of the vision and activities of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre and Vivekananda Illam. The presentation emphasized their enduring mission of nurturing character, instilling leadership qualities, and strengthening cultural and national values among the youth.
A major highlight of the day was the motivating session by Smt. Krishnaveni Ji. Through her dynamic and thought-provoking talk, she presented the powerful ideals of Swami Vivekananda in a manner that resonated deeply with the students. She encouraged them to cultivate confidence, determination, discipline, and a strong ethical foundation while striving toward their goals.
The participants engaged actively throughout the programme, sharing insights and reflecting on their aspirations. Many expressed that the workshop provided clarity of direction and renewed enthusiasm for both their academic journey and personal development.
The experience was further enhanced by a guided visit to the Experience Vivekananda Museum, where students explored inspiring exhibits that portray the life and message of Swami Vivekananda. The visit reinforced the timeless relevance of his teachings in shaping responsible and value-driven citizens.
The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates, books, and photographs of Swami Vivekananda. The day ended on a cheerful note with refreshments and a group photograph near his statue, capturing the collective spirit of inspiration and unity that defined the event.
