- The 183rd Catch Them Young Workshop was successfully conducted on Wednesday, 6 March 2026, at Swami Ramakrishnananda Hall in the campus of the Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC). The programme brought together 80 undergraduate students from Guru Nanak College, including 35 students from B.Sc. Biotechnology and 45 students from B.Com. Honours, for a day dedicated to inspiration, self-reflection, and value-based learning.
- The workshop commenced with a serene invocation, setting a calm and receptive tone for the day. This was followed by an orientation session that introduced the students to the vision and activities of Vivekananda Cultural Centre and Vivekananda Illam. The presentation highlighted their continued efforts in nurturing character, promoting leadership, and instilling cultural and national values among young minds.
- A key highlight of the programme was the inspiring session delivered by Smt. Krishnaveni Ji. Through her engaging and thought-provoking talk, she presented the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda in a manner that deeply resonated with the students. She encouraged them to develop self-confidence, discipline, perseverance, and strong moral values while pursuing their academic and personal aspirations.
- The students participated actively throughout the session, reflecting on their goals and sharing their thoughts. Many of them expressed that the programme helped them gain fresh perspectives and renewed motivation for their future.
- As part of the workshop, the participants were also taken on a guided visit to the Experience Vivekananda Museum. The interactive exhibits offered them an inspiring glimpse into the life, message, and enduring legacy of Swami Vivekananda, leaving a lasting impression on the young participants.
- The workshop concluded on a joyful note with the distribution of certificates,books,photograph of Swami Vivekananda, refreshments, and a group photograph, marking the end of a meaningful and enriching learning experience for all.
